Bread of Life will also be accepting donations to help provide assistance to storm victims. People can apply for up to $1,000 by using their Disaster Relief Assistance Application Form.
According to People magazine, Texas governor Greg Abbott has put out a warning to the state’s residents on Thursday, including the millions who are without clean drinking water and/or power, to brace for the freezing temperatures, which are anticipated to continue at least through the weekend.
“We are not yet out of this, but we’re closer to this challenge being behind us,” he said. “We will not stop until normalcy is restored to your lives.”
